Well the window went down but would not go up.
I ordered a new window crank mechanism and it took about a week to get.
I had to drill out the rivets to get the old window crank parts out and the window up.
I held the window up with a piece of strap and removed the track off the bottom of the window.
I had to remove the door handle for more room to get the new mechanism in place.
I also had to remove the two screws at the bottom of the vent window track but did not have to remove the window.
I bolted the new mechanism in place with two screws and cranked it up parallel with the opening in the door.
There is a short window track hiding inside the door.
Once the track was parallel I unbolted the window mechanism so I could get it in that short track.
Once that was in the track I bolted it up tight.
Then it was easy I just slid the window track on and screwed it back on to the window.
I lubed it up with white grease and it works great.
